Competences

  • Manage server operating systems, installing and configuring software, in quality conditions to ensure system operation.
  • Manage network services (web, electronic messaging and file transfer, among others) by installing and configuring the software.
  • Manage applications by installing and configuring software to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Implement and manage databases by installing and managing the management software, according to the characteristics of the operation.
  • Optimize system performance by configuring hardware devices according to operating requirements.
  • Assess the performance of hardware devices, identifying possibilities for improvement according to operating needs.
  • Determine the infrastructure of telematic networks by drawing up diagrams and selecting equipment and elements.
  • Integrate communications equipment in telematic network infrastructures, determining the configuration to ensure connectivity.
  • Implement high-availability solutions, analyzing the different options on the market, to protect and recover the system in the face of unforeseen situations.
  • Supervise physical security according to manufacturer specifications and the security plan to avoid interruptions in the provision of system services.
  • Secure the system and data according to the needs of use and the security conditions established to prevent failures and external attacks.
  • Manage users according to operating specifications to guarantee access and availability of system resources.
  • Diagnose system malfunctions and take corrective action to restore functionality.
  • Manage and/or perform the maintenance of the resources in their area (scheduling and verifying their compliance), depending on the workloads and the maintenance plan.
